I just received my Poet bag.. have several Cottage bags and at times need something a bit bigger. This was just what I was looking for, horizontal design is great.
Why I rated 4 instead of 5 stars: Any chance of putting magnetic snap closures on the two front pockets? Both are perfect for a cell phone and keys.. but I'm concerned my phone and keys could easily slide out of them.

Beautiful bag
The Poet Bag was out of stock for a bit, so there was a bit of a wait to receive it, but it was well worth it! It is the perfect size, the fabric is lovely, and the bag is very well-made. I am almost afraid to use it, it is so beautiful! Almost!

Disappointed
The Poet Bag is my third Maruca bag, so obviously I'm a fan of the quality and craftsmanship. But the two open pockets on my bag will not lay flat, even when empty. I haven't put anything larger than a grocery list or a mask in them, but the pockets stay wide open. It's a very sloppy look and I'm not happy. This was an expensive mistake.
