there needs to be a bigger version of this style to hold phone, sm wallet, glasses. This one is too small for a small glasses case even.

great design, not quite petite enough for me

I loved everything about this hip pocket bag, including the fabric and the overall size. But sadly even when cinched as tight as it would go, it was too big for my waist (I'm 5'1" and very petite). I'll give it as a gift to a friend instead who I'm sure will love it.

Good design

I own two of these hip bags and bought another one for my niece. I really like the design because they remain fairly flat and inconspicuous and look cute. I like to use them while traveling. I bought mine several years ago and love the fabrics. I have to say the last few years I would like to buy another one in purple or blue, but I just don’t like any of the fabric options. I used to love all of their fabrics, but now I have trouble finding even one that I would want, unfortunately. Their fabrics used to be amazing! But I am glad they still offer this hip bag because it is really useful and well designed. I’ve probably owned a few dozen Maruca bags as I have been buying them for over 20 years. They have always been my favorite brand for purses so I’m disappointed that I just don’t like the fabric options anymore.

We also wanted to let you know that we have unfortunately lost a couple of US mills in the past few years, which has affected our fabric options. However, we are continuously searching for new and high-quality materials to incorporate into our designs.

I should have never settled

The first few prints I wanted were sold out. I settled for a print I didn’t really care for.
I do own 3 other Maruca products and the quality is 5 star ⭐️
